Leaders at the G7 summit in Germany are meetingfor a second and final day Monday with a focus onclimate and energy issues, and talks with theircounterparts from African nations.

Before the summit opened Sunday, U.S. PresidentBarack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkelheld their own talks where the White House said theyagreed that how long economic sanctions against Russia remain in place depends on Russia'simplementation of a cease-fire agreement in Ukraine.

在星期日峰會(huì)開幕之前，美國(guó)總統(tǒng)奧巴馬和德國(guó)總理默克爾舉行了單獨(dú)會(huì)談。白宮說，雙方一致認(rèn)為，對(duì)俄羅斯的經(jīng)濟(jì)制裁持續(xù)多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間，將取決于俄羅斯是否履行烏克蘭停火協(xié)議。

Chancellor Merkel told German public broadcaster ARD that Moscow should stay out of the G7 "community of values" over its actions in Ukraine. "There is a barrier at the moment and Icannot really see how it can be overcome," she said.

默克爾對(duì)德國(guó)媒體說，工業(yè)化七國(guó)是基于共同的價(jià)值觀而結(jié)成的團(tuán)體，莫斯科由于其在烏克蘭的所作所為而與這個(gè)團(tuán)體格格不入。她表示，兩者之間存在著一道障礙，目前還看不到如何跨越這道障礙。

Russian President Vladimir Putin was not invited to take part in the summit for the second yearin a row. He was first excluded last year after Russia's annexation of the Crimean peninsula.

European Council President Donald Tusk said Sunday the European Union and the G7 leadersremain firm in their support of Ukraine in its fight against pro-Russian separatists.

歐洲委員會(huì)主席圖斯克說，歐盟和工業(yè)化七國(guó)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人仍然堅(jiān)決支持烏克蘭打擊東部的親俄羅斯分離主義分子。

Speaking at the luxury Schloss Elmau resort, Tusk said, "Our group is not only the political oreconomic group of interest, but first of all it is a community of values, and that is why Russiais not among us here today, and will not be invited as long as it behaves aggressively againstUkraine and other countries."

圖斯克在埃爾毛城堡度假地說：“我們不僅是政治或經(jīng)濟(jì)利益集團(tuán)，我們首先是一個(gè)有價(jià)值觀的組織。所以今天俄羅斯不在這里。俄羅斯只要對(duì)烏克蘭和其他國(guó)家表現(xiàn)出侵略性，就不會(huì)被邀請(qǐng)。”
