孟小峰，1964年生，博士，現(xiàn)為中國(guó)人民大學(xué)信息學(xué)院副院長(zhǎng)、教授，博士生導(dǎo)。曾先后赴香港中文大學(xué)、新加坡國(guó)立大學(xué)、法國(guó)凡爾賽大學(xué)及INRIA訪問(wèn)研究。主持或參加過(guò)多項(xiàng)國(guó)家科技攻關(guān)項(xiàng)目、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金以及國(guó)家863項(xiàng)目、973項(xiàng)目，獲電子部科技進(jìn)步特等獎(jiǎng)（1996），北京市科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)（1998,2001），中國(guó)計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)會(huì)“王選獎(jiǎng)”一等獎(jiǎng)（2009）等獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)，入選“中創(chuàng)軟件人才獎(jiǎng)”(2002)，“教育部新世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才支持計(jì)劃”(2004)，“第三屆北京市高校名師獎(jiǎng)”(2005)。近5 年在國(guó)內(nèi)外雜志及國(guó)際會(huì)議發(fā)表論文120多篇，獲國(guó)家發(fā)明專利授權(quán)8項(xiàng)，并多次擔(dān)任本領(lǐng)域重要國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù) 會(huì)議的各類主席等如VLDB Demo Chair、ICDE2009 General Vice Chair、CIKM2009 DB Vice Chair、MDM2008 PC Chair、FlashDB2011 Workshop Chair、CloudDB2009-2011 Workshop Chair等。

English Resume

Meng Xiaofeng is a full professor at School of Information, Renmin University of China. He received a B.S. degree from Hebei University, M.S. degree from Renmin University of China , Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, all in computer science. He is currently the vice Dean of School of Information, professor and supervisor of the Doctors in Computer Science Department, Renmin University of China. He is the Secretary General of Database Technique Committee of the China Computer Federation (CCF DBTC). His research interests include Web data management, Cloud data management, mobile data management, Flash-aware DBMS, privacy protection. He has published over 100 papers in refereed international journals and conference proceedings including IEEE TKDE, Geoinformatic, Science in China Series, VLDB, SIGMOD, ICDE, EDBT, ACM GIS etc.. He co-authored the monograph "Moving Objects Management: Models, Techniques, and Applications" published by Springer and Tsinghua Press. He has served on the program committee SIGMOD, ICDE, CIKM, MDM, DASFAA etc.. and editorial board of Journal of Computer Science and Technology(JCST), Frontiers of Computer Science in China(FCS), Journal of Software, Journal of Computer Research and Development(CRAD), etc..
