1996年獲四川輕化工學(xué)院工學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位,2000年獲華中科技大學(xué)理學(xué)碩士學(xué)位;2003年獲北京大學(xué)藥學(xué)院理學(xué)博士學(xué)位,博士期間主要研究稀土元素生物效應(yīng)的分子與細(xì)胞機(jī)理;2004年12月至2008年12月在美國新澤西州立大學(xué)從事博士后研究,主要研究天然植物成分用于腫瘤化學(xué)預(yù)防的動物模型與分子和細(xì)胞機(jī)理;2008年12月至今任北京大學(xué)藥學(xué)院副教授,主要從事預(yù)防藥學(xué)研究。近年來在Cancer Res、Mol Cancer Ther、PLoS ONE、Curr Cancer Drug Targets、JBC等雜志上發(fā)表SCI論文25篇,被引用超過600次,并參編英文專著兩部。
主要研究領(lǐng)域
實(shí)驗(yàn)室研究方向和內(nèi)容:
余四旺實(shí)驗(yàn)室的研究方向?yàn)轭A(yù)防藥學(xué),研究內(nèi)容主要圍繞細(xì)胞對化學(xué)物質(zhì)(包括藥物、致癌物、ROS等等)的應(yīng)答,運(yùn)用多種化學(xué)的和分子、細(xì)胞、整體動物模型等生物學(xué)手段,結(jié)合臨床樣本和數(shù)據(jù),探索重大慢性非傳染性疾病如癌癥和糖尿病的發(fā)病機(jī)制及對其進(jìn)行干預(yù)的靶點(diǎn)和手段。進(jìn)一步的,在個(gè)體化預(yù)測疾病發(fā)展和轉(zhuǎn)歸的基礎(chǔ)上,利用天然的或合成的化學(xué)或生物物質(zhì),對疾病發(fā)生發(fā)展的關(guān)鍵病理環(huán)節(jié)進(jìn)行個(gè)體化的針對性干預(yù)或預(yù)防性治療,以阻止、減緩或者逆轉(zhuǎn)疾病的惡化和不良預(yù)后,并促進(jìn)其良性轉(zhuǎn)歸。
預(yù)防藥學(xué)的研究內(nèi)容可以分為兩大部分,一是生物標(biāo)志物和藥物靶標(biāo)研究。生物標(biāo)志物主要用于個(gè)體化預(yù)判疾病的進(jìn)展/轉(zhuǎn)歸/預(yù)后以確定高危/靶人群,以及個(gè)體化預(yù)測預(yù)防藥物的藥效和毒性等并提供監(jiān)測指標(biāo)。這些生物標(biāo)志物通常也是預(yù)防藥物干預(yù)的靶標(biāo)。二是在生物標(biāo)志物和藥物靶標(biāo)研究的基礎(chǔ)上,研發(fā)安全有效的干預(yù)關(guān)鍵病理環(huán)節(jié)的預(yù)防藥物。這些藥物既可以是新研發(fā)的可食植物成分、天然藥物成分、化學(xué)合成修飾產(chǎn)物或者內(nèi)源性生物物質(zhì),也可以是已有的經(jīng)過臨床證實(shí)安全有效的預(yù)防或治療藥物。
正在進(jìn)行課題:
1、氧化應(yīng)激調(diào)控因子在癌癥發(fā)生發(fā)展、耐藥和放化療毒副作用中的作用及其干預(yù)手段。
2、細(xì)胞應(yīng)激機(jī)制在糖尿病及其并發(fā)癥發(fā)生機(jī)制中的作用及其干預(yù)手段。
3、中藥及可食植物成分用于癌癥和糖尿病化學(xué)預(yù)防及其作用機(jī)制。
