《郵輪實用英語》是筆者在航海技術類高等職業(yè)教育改革中的一種深度探索，其宗旨是引導學生在以郵輪服務工作過程為載體，按照國際郵輪的對客服務核心崗位，即郵輪餐廳服務、郵輪酒吧服務、郵輪事務與客房服務、郵輪廚房操作、船上康樂服務、船舶基礎知識及海上安全應急等崗位上核心能力需要，將教學內(nèi)容整合為6個工作模塊。在每個工作模塊之內(nèi)，則依據(jù)相應崗位的服務職責、關鍵環(huán)節(jié)、操作流程與操作技能安排5-11個教學與訓練單元，每個單元的內(nèi)容都精心設計了服務情境，便于教師利用工作情境提供的條件充分調(diào)動學生的學習與實踐興趣，以英語為工具，模擬主動對客服務、解答客人問題、應對突發(fā)情況、記錄工作日志等工作過程，有利于學生在教師的引領下逐個環(huán)節(jié)地掌握國際郵輪服務與管理的基本知識和崗位操作技能。
