圖書簡介

本書分析了社會、文化與口譯互動方面的學(xué)術(shù)活動和科研狀況，指出迄今為止相關(guān)課題的學(xué)術(shù)研究成果多囿于認(rèn)知學(xué)和心理語言學(xué)的范疇，很少有人將會議口譯當(dāng)作設(shè)于語境中的行動來研究。作者從社會和文化的角度出發(fā)，將口譯員設(shè)在會議語境中，考察了社會和文化語境與口譯員在會場的存在及其口譯表現(xiàn)之間的動態(tài)關(guān)系。作者通過親身觀察、采訪相關(guān)人員以及對會議的文字記錄進行分析，澄清了坊問流傳的對會議口譯的誤解。作者也同時指出，在具體語境中研究會議口譯的工作任重而道遠。
