研究成果 | 長期從事跨多學(xué)科的環(huán)境與地球科學(xué)領(lǐng)域相關(guān)科學(xué)研究,包括的大氣及水環(huán)境污染數(shù)值模擬及排放清單,數(shù)學(xué)和數(shù)值方法在大氣污染物遷移模式中的應(yīng)用,持久性毒物: 包括POPs(持久性有機(jī)污染物,Persistent Organic Pollutants)和重金屬、常規(guī)污染物等大氣傳輸模式開發(fā);區(qū)域尺度持久性毒物大氣遷移、沉降及跨區(qū)域和全球長距離輸送,源匯響應(yīng)等環(huán)境過程模擬,尤其在中小尺度、區(qū)域尺度、全球尺度大氣傳輸模式及大氣-海洋耦合模式開發(fā)研究及中小尺度、區(qū)域尺度及全球尺度污染物大氣跨境輸送及生物地球化學(xué)循環(huán)等模擬,中小尺度大氣環(huán)流數(shù)值模擬,空氣污染物大氣邊界層和湍流擴(kuò)散過程研究方面具有非常豐富的經(jīng)驗(yàn),是POPs大氣遷移和氣候影響研究領(lǐng)域內(nèi)全球知名的專家。在國際SCI期刊等發(fā)表近90篇科學(xué)論文、政府及國際學(xué)術(shù)組織科學(xué)報(bào)告。 從理論上推導(dǎo)出非中性大氣邊界層大氣動量和熱量通量以及干沉積速度在混合地表?xiàng)l件下的參數(shù)化方法;沙暴條件下風(fēng)速垂直剖面的變化及其與沙地表面的相互作用,并首次將變分方法應(yīng)用于反演計(jì)算地表粗糙度、馮•卡曼常數(shù)、及大氣污染物通量。 于90年代開發(fā)建立的三維大氣,水,土壤耦合大氣輸運(yùn)模式CanMETOP (Canadian Model for Environmental Transport of Organochlorine Pesticides)是當(dāng)時國際上最先進(jìn)的POPs及重金屬大氣遷移模式之一。該模式在2006年底引入中國,在多所高校和中科院科研機(jī)構(gòu)的合作研究中得到廣泛應(yīng)用:數(shù)值模擬典型POPs(多環(huán)芳烴、有機(jī)氯農(nóng)藥等)等污染物在大氣中的遷移歸趨及長距離輸送行為,以及這些污染物對人體健康的影響與風(fēng)險(xiǎn)評估。 近10年來對全球氣候變化及全球變暖對POPs遷移、歸趨等行為影響及POPs生態(tài)環(huán)境效應(yīng)對氣候變化的響應(yīng),和全球氣候變化對陸地環(huán)境生物地球化學(xué)及水循環(huán)的影響等給予了特別的關(guān)注,并開展了一系列開創(chuàng)性的研究工作,馬建民博士于2004年在環(huán)境科學(xué)與技術(shù)雜志(ES&T)首次發(fā)表了全球氣候變化影響POPs環(huán)境歸趨的證據(jù)和研究成果,成為國際上研究氣候變化和POPs關(guān)系的開創(chuàng)者。他建立了世界上首個模擬長期氣候變化影響POPs多環(huán)境介質(zhì)交換和長期趨勢的擾動數(shù)學(xué)模型,并將此模式和理論延伸到模擬氣候變化在生態(tài)環(huán)境及野生生物與人類對有機(jī)污染物風(fēng)險(xiǎn)暴露中的作用。他從理論和觀測數(shù)據(jù)的統(tǒng)計(jì)分析中首次發(fā)現(xiàn)證明了北極變暖和海冰融化導(dǎo)致長期聚集冰封在北極寒冷環(huán)境的POPs重返回大氣。這些研究成果在 Nature Clim. Change(自然•氣候變化),Environmental Science & Technology, Journal of Geophysical Research等國際著名期刊發(fā)表后,并被自然,環(huán)境科學(xué)與技術(shù),美國化學(xué)學(xué)會環(huán)境科學(xué)與工程等雜志重點(diǎn)介紹,在國際上引起強(qiáng)烈反響,被國際和中國著名媒體,如英國衛(wèi)報(bào),紐約時報(bào),路透社,加通社,法新社,新科學(xué)家(New Scientist),中國日報(bào)(China Daily), 人民網(wǎng)等上百個媒體,十多種語言報(bào)道。近年來,氣候變化與POPs區(qū)域歸趨行為及生態(tài)響應(yīng)等相互作用方面研究已成為國際上環(huán)境與地球科學(xué)領(lǐng)域的前沿和熱點(diǎn)研究內(nèi)容。 |
