RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
1985-1999 As an assistantin 1985, I engaged in propagation and extending the citrus fine varieties and virus-free plants, won the first prize and the three prizes of the national science and technology progress by Ministry of Agriculture and Education Committee for “Propagation and popularization of satsuma mandarin Guoqing No. 1 and No. 4”in 1988 and in 1994. During studying for Master Degree, I explored and improved the method of the shoot tip grafting for elimination the pathogen of Huanglongbing. During studying for PhD, I performed the selecting the high content of medicinal components in Ginkgo biloba using cell suspension culture, and developed the antibodies of hapten quercetin.
2000-2002Obtained the fellowship of senior visiting scholar, engaging in the research of CP gene transformation of papaya in Japan international researching center for two years in JRCAS.
2003-2006Presided over the projects of the Ministry and Province about “Detection of papaya ringspot virus using the coat protein gene probe" and "Citrus virus-free micro-propagation and molecular detection “.
2006-2008 Presided over the National Natural Science Foundation (No.30571277) "Function in RNA silencing path of siRNA in the papaya protoplasts and virus inhibitor pathway ".
2008-2010 Presided over the National Natural Science Foundation "Research on ihpRNA mediated papaya ringspot virus resistance and defense response regulator of the VIGS “(No.30771477).
2010-2012Participated in the projects of "Study on citrus germplasm research and genetic improvement" presided by professor Deng xiuxin; and "Citrus model cultivation and storage technology" presided by professor Yi Hualin; participated in Hubei province key project "The application of poly-r-glutamic acid in the fruit tree" (ZDNDD17)”.
2012-2014 Having participated in the project of the Ministry of Agriculture of China about “Comprehensive technology research and demonstration of controlling citrus yellow shoot disease and citrus canker”, and responsible for one of the sub-topics project (20100306701) since 2010. Carried out the research of structural biology related protein of Huanglongbing pathogen in 2011. Presided over National Natural Science Foundation “Study on the molecular mechanism of controlling the key enzymes basing on fatty acid metabolism of Huanglongbing in citrus” (No.31272146).
