個(gè)人簡介主要從事水稻逆境生理、營養(yǎng)生理、現(xiàn)代高產(chǎn)高效栽培技術(shù)創(chuàng)新等方向的研究,任湖北省科技創(chuàng)新研究團(tuán)隊(duì)領(lǐng)銜人,被評(píng)為湖北省有突出貢獻(xiàn)的中青年專家,兼任教育部高等學(xué)校植物生產(chǎn)類專業(yè)教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)秘書長、中國作物栽培專業(yè)委員會(huì)委員、《作物學(xué)報(bào)》編委、"The Crop Journal"副編輯。
2001年5月—2003年5月在菲律賓國際水稻所從事博士論文研究,先后在菲律賓國際水稻所任高級(jí)訪問研究學(xué)者,多次參加在美國、日本、菲律賓、奧地利、摩洛哥、澳大利亞、韓國、馬來西亞、孟加拉、客麥隆、尼日利亞和中國等地舉行的國際學(xué)術(shù)研討會(huì)并作會(huì)議報(bào)告。
目前主持的在研項(xiàng)目包括科技部支撐計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目—“湖北單季稻大面積均衡增產(chǎn)集成研究與示范”、國家自然科學(xué)基金重大國際合作項(xiàng)目“全球氣候變化之增溫對(duì)水稻產(chǎn)量和品質(zhì)形成及氮代謝與氮效率的影響及機(jī)理”等多項(xiàng)研究。
先后獲得國際農(nóng)業(yè)磋商組織杰出論文獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng),國家級(jí)教學(xué)成果二等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng),湖北省科技進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)、三等獎(jiǎng)各1項(xiàng),湖南省科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)3項(xiàng)、三等獎(jiǎng)2項(xiàng);湖北省教改成果一等獎(jiǎng)和二等獎(jiǎng)各1項(xiàng);主持建設(shè)的《植物生理學(xué)》課程(http://www.icourses.cn/coursestatic/course_6018.html)獲批國家精品資源共享課。
主編或參編著作10部,在學(xué)術(shù)刊物發(fā)表論文140多篇,其中SCI收錄論文66篇,包括在Nature和PNAS合著論文各1篇,作為通訊作者在J Exp Bot發(fā)表論文1篇,累計(jì)被SCI源刊引用971次。2004年發(fā)表在PNAS論文“Rice yields decline with higher night temperature from global warming” 2005年被美國Discover Magazine評(píng)為“2004年全球100起重要科學(xué)事件”,排名第68位。
